Long bottom tail and consolidation lead me to believe that this was the bottom and a reversal was near. In hindsight, this was setting up a bear flag and I should have been focusing on that.Possible signs I should have seen that would have pointed towards focusing on shorts instead of longs:

heavy selling volume
gap and crap
green to red move
