The second trade and last trade killed me. I have no edge, I am not following a methodology. It's just gambling. Much more work required.

check out Youtube videos at MyStrategicForecast. Just watch. he goes through the market every day and he teaches. Its really a daily class on how to read the market. You wont go wrong by checking out that channel. Let me know what you think.

I take notes when I watch these videos. Every chart works the same so when he describes major zones, patterns, price action and all that good stuff you can apply it to any instrument/chart.
