Overtraded this highly volatile stock. Very low float, a Chinese stock amongst others this week that gapped up massively and ultimately fizzling out. I was down, then I clawed my way back with a couple of good trades, however, got too greedy, and was trying to catch some dips at the end there with limit orders. What happened? Someone dumped a large amount and it tanked, filling my limit buys and continuing down. Then I was too upset/fearful to cut losses immediately, leading to higher loss than expected. This was a particularly devastating trade for my second small account.

this is a great trade to learn from. Esp with regards to the emotions you felt during the trade - remember what and how you felt. Of course think about what you would have done differently but our emotions can partially paralyze us in the heat of moment. Think about a plan for what you will do next time you feel those emotions. Bringing your mind back to a state of objectivity is key - how do you get there? Take some size off? Get out entirely and re-evaluate?
These are the best trades to grow from.
