took profits way too soon... smh any tips for holding a position longer?? please advise

Hey Cam,three things that help me stay in trades is if on the 5 minute chart, if it keeps making lower highs, that helps squelch that voice screaming in my head that says "SELL!!!!" This didn't make a higher high till 1:05 at $6.09
Also, in this case, notice that even tho it made a higher high, it couldn't make a higher "close". That didn't happen until the 1:20 bar at $5.89.
Oh yeah, the 3rd thing is when you take your first partial, remember that under most conditions, you can't lose-so let that quell the nervousness about the rest of the trade.
