ThinkorSwim announces: No news on XON other than some stats "Over the last one month and the previous three months, Intrexon Corp.'s shares have surged 15.51% and 58.62%, respectively. Additionally, the stock has gained 42.34% in the past one year. The company's shares are trading above their 50-day and 200-day moving averages."

Main Setup - Rubber band Setup - short

Daily - XON has made double top a few days ago and was over the BB so I put it in my short list and have been watching it every day for a potential intraday short setup.

Intraday - Completely misinterpreted XON chart on intraday and mostly went the opposite of what had actually happened.

S1, S2, and S3 are my short entries, and L2 is the only long that I tried to play.
This stock was still very strong on Friday and when you put it in the context of a very nice bullish day, I see now that all I was looking was a short setup and that was my main focus. I should have looked at the big picture for that day and check on the overall market movement. Do not short in a bulish day. Period! Hopefully that will keep me out of trouble.

Not proud of this trade, but I need to put in in writing so I understand where I went wrong.
