Setup - PR with a pre-market move up - suggesting a long position
Daily chart - it had been forming a base at around $0.50 for several months, and then started breaking out probably due to some news(base breakout). So, a news on a very small cap stock can show big moves, as it happened today.
Intraday (5-min) - entered at a squeeze after some consolidation, then played a flag breakout off of 9 EMA, and another shaking flag a little later (see screen shot below for details).
Entries: $1.51, $1.71, and $1.80, and tried on the short side at $1.80 in the afternoon session (got stopped as this was a strong move stock today, bad news in the after hours though)
Stop loss: $ $1.46 (right under all the EMAs, risking 5c)
Target: $1.64 at least (anticipated a squeeze over the HOD)
Exit: sold into the spike scaling, re-entered on 2 more flags and tried one short position later in the day
Had a couple of more entries and got stopped.
