This one flushed right out of the gate. I've learned that I like this kind of setup. It was a gapper but then went for the flush. I still need to work on my exits.
Execution detail:
Yes it was a green to red. I just wish I would have sold on that previous green candle lol. No one knows the bottom though. On some other trades I didn't do well with the exits and one I just totally chased. I'm learning my mistakes though.
Nice trade!
The textbook says a green to red is when the stock goes red compared to the previous day! So this one wouldn't be green to red. I'm not sure what this setup is, but I also like to trade this setup. I think some call it gap and fade?
I meant it was a green to red candle not a green to red setup move. This was early on in my trading and I was still new to everything. It was a gap up from previous day. I don't play these much anymore. I like flags and pullbacks that follow the MA's.
The candle started out green then to red. Honestly I didn't understand what a green to red move was until later on lol.

Was that a green to red entry strategy? I don't think you need much work on exits as you think. A trend line break by the look of it. Well timed.
