Main idea of the day as it was approaching the all-important $41.5 level, which was a major long-term daily/weekly resistance that broke only recently, followed by an extention to $46. 1st pullback to that level, I thought buyers would defend it, and I was expecting kind of an explosive bounce there.
Premarket plan was for a "Technical Reversal on the 15min" in-front of S1=$41.5, that would be the start of a "RDR-buy" daily candle. Would love a strong close reclaiming yesterday's close=$42.8s for a swing to $44s. Placed some bids $41.5-41.6s and sat tight.
Slow grind lower along with overall market, put a LOD=$41.62 and I missed the 1st fill by 2c!! Formed a nice "Technical Reversal on the 15min" pattern here:
-- 15min reversal-hammer canle in-font of S1=$41.5
-- EMAs@1min chart crossed each other confirming the shift in momentum
-- Broke thru the intraday downtrend, backtested it, held above
The moment it broke the downtrend + overall market reversed,
Got long Tier 0, risking tight stop at LOD=$41.6, added Tier I as EMAs@1min crossed and it started holding above them, expecting the retest of VWAP at a minimum.
Sold small at the push to VWAP, reloaded at the 1st pullback, took more out closer to $42.2s. Had trouble holding above VWAP, I tried to stay with it and hold as much as I could, but couldn't turn it to swing with such price action close to bell.
Cut it, will revisit Monday.
