Very similar chart to my recent trade in GMAN and I made the exact same mistake on my first short entry. I shorted 500 shares at 3.29 and placed a hard stop at 3.34 which ended up triggering. There was no short set-up here and it would more then likely bounce of the VWAP which is exactly what happened. The short entry came when the stock squeezed up to 3.50 and failed to breakout and hold its flag. When it broke below the EMAs I waited a bit to long but I placed another short entry at 3.39 on the ask and never got filled. I was thinking of moving it when it tested the VWAP but I thought it would bounce a bit and offer another entry point. It didn't and majorly flushed. Crap. A little less greedy with my entry and maybe placing at the mid-point would have been a wiser decision.
