I'm not sure if I either got faked out, or if I was being smart in getting out of my short position in the first 2 tries. I got in, covered .20 higher. A minute later I tried to short again thinking it was fizzing out, and it went up .40 before I covered.
I ended up waiting for a bit, just keeping my cool. I did only go in with 35 shares per position so I wasn't too upset, but I wanted to get a good entry. I just wasn't sure if it was going to keep running so I got out and remebered "there's always another entry", especially for something blown up like this.
I waited, and got a good short in to "nullify" my losses on it and get some back from the market.
Possibly just thinking of getting my money back cost me making more? I was jumping over dollars for pennies type of situation?
Also, I shorted, it went down, and it went back up. I ended up going from $100 in profit to $10 or something like that. I thought it was going to have another run but it was just shorts covering most likely paired with some buys (+new bagholders).
I just need to stick to my conviction on stocks that blew up but can not hold price.
