Situation: was watching a lot of names, AMZN was mentioned by another trader and had a very clean level, this is also a name where you can abuse size as contracts are very expensive, QQQ was chopping around but was coming into support.
Self-Talk: this trade may be a slower trade but can pay, need to watch QQQ closely as this is a name thats very correlated, got in a little early but was still able to control risk and put a tight stop on it. I got out one contract when it moved 25 points in one candle and started to reject the 10 day sma on 1hr, let the other one stop out when it started rejected, it ended up being a short shakeout but I was happy with the trade
Consequences: Took a good RR trade that paid well
Coaching Talk: Good trade, this doesnt have to be an 100% perfect trade. As traders we look for the easy money to be made. Exactly what we should look for
