Tail-end of corporate earnings season and approaching EOM. Monetary policy updates with central bank at the annual Jackson Hole event EOW. Lighter volume to start the week but market waiting for any less likely un-priced in announcements. Continued dovish commentary was reiterated by Powell and market rallied into the end of the week.

Fundamentals In Play Analysis

Autodesk reported a beat and raise for the prior quarter. The revenue guidance was only raised on the lower end and up modestly from prior guidance. The company is also approaching difficult remaining RPO comps in 2H21. The EBA's are also shifting from multi-year paid upfront to annual billings.

(A) setup / (B) execution. 1/2RP, conservative positioning, ~25% allocation. OGT but executed hybrid desk/mobile. May have traded it more aggressively but keeping in mind the wider spreads even w/ elevated RVOL. The report was good but notable profit taking w/ the stock running ~20% since the last ER.

Weekly Trading Review

Overall good setups taken and within risk + allocation parameters. Added more trades end of the week within my playbook but on desk/mobile. The review for this week is 2 weeks after executions and still a good practice in my overall trading. Need to keep in mind to review this on the week of so things are still fresh and I'll be able to dedicate more time to it. I was traveling so I may have to update my process so this can be done remotely in future instances.
