First trade was against the $275 level with $1.50 of risk and small position to keep myself safe. That stopped out but price immediately pulled back some. I put in a second offer higher with $1 stop and that got hit. I had my eye on the LOD as a price target, though I've been around long enough to know that trending stocks will take out that low and can push much lower. I'm not good at catching all day trends (yet) primarily because I trade only the first 3 hours of the morning, but I am getting better at capturing large sections of the move like in this trade.
Where I could do better is to place my profit targets a little further apart and use momentum shifts on the tape to execute them. I could have carried more size for longer in this trade and have been much better off. Still, I traded a very similar setup last week and this is better executions.
