I wasted a lot of my day w. this trade when I should've cut my loss when it was small. Instead, I held a short for Hrs. w. the loss getting to as much as -$200. I was in it and in a hoping and praying situation (means LOSS of CONTROL). I even had the opportunity to take a break even few hrs. later but as soon as it got there, I said to myself maybe it'll break down lower. The crazy thing is that I got in at/close to the very bottom w. a short position. The news was kind of good due to it having a price target upgrade from multiple firms of $24 and even higher. Also, something about a new studied drug being well tolerated. I noticed a BULLISH Channel throughout the day that broke its support to the downside after 2pm. I noticed that channel breaks can be very profitable due to traders potentially now wanting to take profits. Lesson learned: Always have a plan of exit/managing risk. Without this plan, I will lose control of the trade and not know what to do in circumstances.
