unreal $300 to $325 bounce with great volume profile but didnt mark top. 1 small left side entry allowed me to sit thru new high which failed. This was an A+ fail on 5min and really shoulda been aggressive with backside add $323s-$324s. Bad miss. I think the magnitude of bounce off open caught be so off guard it had me questioning shorts. Def introduced uncertainty. Nice winner but this shoulda been a monster.

Quick question for when you have time: Did you have any talk/meeting about current market environment at the desk? Meaning maybe senior traders discussing current market environment and suggesting "maybe we press more shorts here, avoid longs etc etc" or is up to every trader to interpret market and adjust own strategy accordingly?
I am retail, and I want to know how the big guys are running things haha. Thanks.
That's a great question! And we def had that discussion as a desk about how diff the mkt is and has been. That its important to remind ourselves that we're seeing classic bear mkt price action. Even so, at times its been tough to trust the bear market after so many years of there always being a bid to V bounce things. We've talked about more momo shorts, and shorting rallies and most importantly not trying to catch knives on trend down days.

Insane move & trade. I took a very similar trade. I swear some of our entries must be secs apart!! But the most funny thing is that I also started my journal with sth similar:
"Couldn't believe when I saw the SNOW $322 alert..."
