Just a bad trade on my behalf today. The stock had gone green to red in the morning and finally approached low of day. After tapping the low of day for a second time, I attempted to short the stock, looking for a flush. I saw a sideways consolidation on the 5 minute candle chart for 2 candles, and then attempted the short. After recognizing the price retracing deeper, I looked to add to my position. The trend just so happened to reverse at low of day instead of flushing. Got out a little later than I should have so took a big loss. Lesson learned.
