On this trade I had already missed the large move from the beginning of the day. Although I had some earlier pre-market gains from AMD, I was trying to avoid the large swinging candles and wait for trends to form. I turned my attention back to AMD around 9:50 and watched this trend forming. Despite the indecision candles I felt the stock was grinding upwards and liked the confidence the overall market was adding to the direction. I took the trade and moved my stop to the low of each previous 1-minute candle. I was able to grab 6R (typical) on this trade.
