This was my PB trade. The idea was fair but my execution can improve.
I did not pay attention to the traveled range of the stock. The stock had moved over 1 dollar on the 1st hour. I think it was safe to take profits and re position myself if another entry signal was given.
My first add was not that great. I miss the fact that the stock was BO of the downtrend and try to fade a move. Even if fading made sense I should have kept my stop on the high of the candle that was failing 11.74, and not give those extra cents.
I could have added a momo lot the second time it breaks the upper support as I had a time continuity signal with both the 15 and 30 min chart.
PB Trade: Resistance + VWAP Re Test Play_SQ
Ideal Trade2Hold when the following variables are present:
Stock with positive fundamentals but quite extended
Stock Opening near a high volume congesition zone
Stock with clear upper support and resistance levels and lower AH support and resistance levels
Stock tries fails twice at resistance premarket
Stock opens flushes though upper premarket support/ key inflexion point on daily, however, on the move up fails to break above first swing high.
Stock comes back and holds upper pmkt support (higher low), however, makes a lower high on the next upmove at now VWPA is showing resistance
Stock consolidates below VWAP and accelerates once below that inflexion point/premarket support .
Stock makes a nice OD play on the short side.
Stock retests VWAP and consolidates just below VWAP
Stock tries to go above VWAP twice but can not
Stock finally losses upper area support below VWAP and starts to trend intraday.
