**What was the result of the trade, what happened? Loss. I saw price action break the opening range again, so I entered a trade at 123.59 with 25 shares. The overall market was gapping down. Price action created a new HOD and reversed. I didn't like the overall movement of price action and I decided to exit my position. I should have treated this as a HODB but made decisions as though this was an ORBU trade.

*FEELINGS- Describe what you thought and felt during the trade? Did feel I was executing correctly.

*EVALUATION- What was good or bad about the trade (what worked according to plan in the trade)? Good: None. Bad: I used an incorrect ATR for stop placement. I didn't execute the HODB strategy correctly. The premarket high was in the way of profit target.

*ANALYSIS- Does the trade make sense to you now that it is over? No, it doesn't.

*CONCLUSION- What is the final judgment of the trade (draw conclusions)? I was mentally not trading the process but thinking about ending the year positive which led me to execute the trade incorrectly.

*ACTION PLAN- How are you going to avoid the mistakes you made on this trade? How are you going to make sure you get the same results the next time if the trade was good? Focus on the process and not my P&L.
