This was a bad trade. I took my entry when price looked like it would break back below the 20 ema, but it reversed. When it gapped up the next day I wasn't too worried because it fell at the open, but when it reversed again intraday, I panicked slightly, even though price was still far away from my stop. I decided to exit out of fear and frustration for my "bad" entry. The next day it went down below my entry price, but still hasn't hit a TP yet. I need to realise that it is ok not to have picked the top, or even gotten in on the day of the top, but since I don't have statistics on my setups yet, I don't know how much give back is too much. I need to trust my system, but to do that I need statistics.
