PREMARKET
- COIN on the gap down premarket scanner list. No crazy news besides that binance has paused bitcoin transaction for 12 hours for the second time ever.
- ETB, ATR: $4.90, LC
- Really did not have a bias, saw that it was trending above the VWAP on friday but thats about it. Plan was just to watch it for the right moves.
OPEN
- During the open I was trading TSLA, so I missed the entire move to the downside. However, at some point the 1 min and 5 min candles were showing reversal intentions from triple a triple bottom.
- TRADE 1: First entry was on 1 min and 5 min candle confirmation to the upside for 20 shares, although I accidentally bought 20 more while i was trying to set my stop loss at 54.50. I added on 1 min candle supporting the trade close to my initial entry. At that point I was risking 40c for 80c. Took first 50% partial at 1R and 25% at VWAP, 15% higher than VWAP and remaining 5% at the high of this leg.
REFLECTION
- One thing I did NOT like was the accidental 20 share entry while I was trying to place a stop loss. I need to be 100% flawless on hotkey execution.
- Besides this, the entries were on reasonable confirmation on the 1 min and 5 min charts. Entry was very good because it allowed me to hold the position longer, comfortably. Managed to scale in close to my full position.
- Great day of keeping the emotions in check and trading the technical emotionless indications.
