Hey dpaleo. I'm self-learning how to code but I would be lying if I said I knew how to exactly code that up yet, and run the results, haha but it is possible. If I'm not mistaken, I believe in the past you mentioned you work at a prop firm. Do they quite have any software that you use for some data analysis or insight?

Hey dpaleo - I'm curious on how you use back testing or data behind the scenes if you don't mind me asking. If you are thinking of shorting 'ABC' ticker, and the next day it gaps up, are you back testing if there is an edge in shorting that, what the occurrences are and results? And are you back testing how far potentially intraday it might move higher and then waiting for a signal to short? Those were a few examples, but how are you back testing?
