One of those stocks that you watch

Open

  • Had plans set on NVDA based on the premarket action. The price action was holding the premarket low and tapped the area twice, was looking for the price action to take off from this area to the upside. Took my first entry on 3 minutes of resistance around the area that gave me positive indication it was sustaining the area. First entry taken, second entry taken at the top of the range break. Price action resolved slightly, took a first partial at the break out and rest on the break even on it breaking back into the range, not that positive of a continuation move unfortunately in that moment.

Reflection

- 3 indicators? Yes, first entry called for, watching for the directional indication using the levels and candle movement in the moment.

- Scaling? Yes, additional entry on the range break above the range set at the open.

- Partials? At the top of the first break out, rest at the break even on it coming right back into the range it had just broken out of (not positive of continuation)

- Risk management? I accidentally used the positive size I was going to use on TSLA... so I leveraged way more than I realized, fortunately I managed the position as best I could and took a minor win on the quick partial and break even all out.

- What went right/wrong? Trade execution and reading the levels was nice, I feel I did well on reading the levels and price action. Profit management and trade management also was a nice as best as I could have managed honestly, small winning trade on choppy action.

- Successful trade? Yes, traded the plan, kepts the emotions in check.
